Investigation of state trooper actions continues

The Kentucky State Police Legal Services Branch in Frankfort says the investigation of events that led to the abrupt resignation of a trooper from Post 1 in Mayfield is ongoing. Trooper Donald G. Crawford of Salem  resigned in late August after nine years on the force. According to the Marshall County Tribune-Courier, Crawford resigned when information surfaced in the community of inappropriate contact with a Marshall County juvenile during a traffic stop.
