Lloyd Road will be closed to allow paving through what will be the eventual intersection with the new U.S. 641. Prep work and paving at this site is expected to take about a week to complete, weather permitting. There will be no marked detour.
Grade and drain work along about a 6-mile section of new U.S. 641 between Marion and Fredonia is expected to be completed this year with paving of two lanes along the new alignment planned for late 2015.
