Volunteer firefighters spent some time early this morning extinguishing a blaze at an old home on Guy Hodge Road that been used for a hunting cabin. The fire escaped into the nearby forest and burned about a half acre of woods. No one was injured.The fire was reported about 2 a.m.
The lodge was a total loss.
