The first major influx of outdoorsmen will begin today as hunters prepare for this weekend's two-day blackpowder deer season. Hunters can use muzzleloaders in pursuit of whitetails on Saturday and Sunday.
The rifle deer season is Nov. 8-23.
Of particular interest to hunters will be the Crittenden Outdoors 2014 Hunting Guide, recently published and distributed to area retailers and tourist locations.
