Crittenden County Detention Center
With two months left in its fiscal year, Crittenden County Detention Center is on course to streamline its red ink. Ten months into the current budget cycle, the jail is operating on $20,000 per month less than the previous fiscal year. Jailer Robbie Kirk attributes the improved financial condition to a variety of factors, largely increased housing revenue and a reduced staff.
