Although travel may be difficult during these weather conditions like those created by Winter Storm Jonah and a state
of emergency is in effect across Kentucky, it does not override attendance requirements between
employer and employees. That is determined by your employer's personnel and
attendance policy, according to Kentucky Emergency Management.
Counties may declare local states of emergency, and if so, local officials may
impose travel restrictions.
