UPDATE 2 (Second Victim Identified): Two teens were killed in the single-vehicle crash. One was the driver Katie B. McFarland, 18, of Ledbetter. The other was 16-year-old passenger Jordan Loveless of Salem. Both were pronounced dead at the scene after their vehicle went off of the highway, down an embankment, hit a tree and caught fire.

There is a report of a fatal automobile accident south of Smithalnd on Ky. 453 after midnight last night.
No other details were immediately available.
The highway was closed for almost 2 hours while he crash was being investigated by Kentucky State Police.
