The City of Marion has just lifted the boil water advisory inside the city limits.
The advisory was issued Wednesday when state workers hit a water line on Old Salem Road.
The interruption of water service caused the dismissal of school in Crittenden County on Thursday.
City Administrator Adam Ledford said at 2:25 p.m., Thursday the city was alerted that the test samples were approved, allowing city officials to cancel the boil water advisory.
