Gubernatorial candidates trade insults

Debating on television for the first time, Kentucky's three candidates for governor displayed conflicting positions Tuesday night on a multitude of issues, including same-sex marriage licenses. It got tense at times, especially between Democrat Jack Conway and Republican Matt Bevin. Conway called Bevin "callous" for wanting to roll back Gov. Steve Beshear's expansion of Medicaid for low-income Kentuckians without health insurance, and Bevin accused Conway of being untruthful.
