Debating on television for the first time, Kentucky's three candidates
for governor displayed conflicting positions Tuesday night on a
multitude of issues, including same-sex marriage licenses. It got tense
at times, especially between Democrat Jack Conway and Republican Matt
Bevin. Conway called Bevin "callous" for wanting to roll back Gov. Steve
Beshear's expansion of Medicaid for low-income Kentuckians without
health insurance, and Bevin accused Conway of being untruthful.
