Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear has appointed Sherman Chaudoin to serve as Judge-Executive of Caldwell County.Chaudoin currently serves as executive director of the South Kentucky Industrial Development Association. He is a former mayor of Princeton. Chaudoin has also served in the U.S. Air Force. He and his wife, Diane, reside in Princeton.
Chaudoin replaces Van Knight, who passed away April 9. The appointment is effective May 1. Chaudoin shall serve until the general election on Nov. 4, 2008.
