Circuit Court Judge Rene Williams charged a public defender with contempt of court today and sent him to the Crittenden County Detention Center to serve until she authorizes his release. Paul Sysol of Henderson was 40 minutes late for court Thurday morning. By the time he arrived, his client had already left the courthouse. It wasn't the first time Sysol had been late, the judge said.
