Kentucky First Lady Jane Beshear will be the featured guest for the opening day of school for Crittenden County teachers. Although students will start back to school on Thursday, teachers' first day of work is today.The first lady will be flying in to the Marion-Crittenden County Airport this morning and she will be on campus from 9 to 10 a.m., and delivery a speech at Rocket Arena. The school system's theme for the start of a new school year is “Saddlin’ Up for School.” There will be a student roping exhibition on the grounds beside Rocket Arena as part of the event.
