KyTC issues travel update

Travel remains difficult across most of the region.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews are making some headway on "A" snow priority routes as the snow has stopped or trailed off to flurries at most locations.

KyTC continues to urge the public to avoid unnecessay travel as many "B" and "C" snow priority routes are snow covered.

KyTC has the following county-by-county activity report:

District 1 Paducah

Time: 5:31 a.m.
Air Temperature: 21
Road Temperature: 29

Comments: No precipitation at this time. All counties still plowing and treating. All contract trucks being utilized. Crews are making progress on A routes. KyTC had two plows that slid off the road ovenight.

Plowing and treating Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Crittenden, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg counties.
