Boy allegedly attacked by 2 pit bull-Lab mix dogs

A five-year-old Crittenden County boy has been life-flighted to Vanderbilt Hospital after being allegedly attacked this morning by two dogs in rural Crittenden County.

Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the case and the two dogs, described as being of pit bull and Labrador mix, have been taken into custody by the county’s animal control officer.

The incident took place on Sulphur Springs Cemetery Road in the southern part of the county shortly before 9 a.m.
