- On July 22 around 2 a.m., Deputy Bobby Beeler investigated a car-deer collision on KY 93 South. A 2020 Dodge Charger driven by Joshua Oden, 35, of Cadiz struck a deer but no injuries were reported.
- On July 23 just before 1 p.m., Chief Deputy Sam Adams investigated a minor crash on Fairview Avenue in Eddyville where a 75-year-old man backed into a parked vehicle. No injuries occurred.
- On July 27, a high-speed crash on Lake Barkley Drive in Kuttawa resulted in two minor injuries. Jonathan Ramos, 21, of Calvert City lost control of a 2019 Chrysler 300, hitting a guard rail and ditch.
- On July 30 at 5:50 p.m., Deputy Josh Travis served a criminal complaint on Amber Beckner, 45, of Eddyville for failing to send a child to school.
- On July 31 at 10:27 p.m., Deputy Shannon Oliver investigated a parking lot crash off Days Inn Drive where a truck backed into an SUV. No injuries were reported.
- On Aug. 1, Capt. Dennis Beckett arrested Shanda A. Walker, 37, of Winchester on a Fayette County
warrant for first-offense trafficking in carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives. She awaits extradition.- On Aug. 2, deputies responded to a missing juvenile complaint in Kuttawa. Two Missouri teens, ages 16 and 17, had reportedly fled their home state and were trying to get to South Carolina. They were found safely at a restaurant and later reunited with family.
- Also on Aug. 2 at 1:40 p.m., a vehicle struck a corner support pole at Malloy’s Korner on KY 93 South. The crash, involving a 2008 Mercury Mariner driven by Billy W. Lear, 57, of Eddyville, caused no injuries.
- At 9:09 p.m. that night, a traffic stop by Deputy Travis led to the arrest of Sean P. Faudree, 53, of Princeton. He was charged with DUI, no operator’s license and possession of a controlled substance. He was jailed in Crittenden County.
- Another disturbance at a Kuttawa campground escalated when deputies and troopers were called to a golf cart collision. A suspect fled the scene in a vehicle but was stopped by authorities. Grace K. Spears, 25, of Bowling Green, was arrested and charged with second-offense DUI and failure to use a child restraint.
- While officers were still on the scene, a white pickup arrived to retrieve the child from Spears' vehicle. The driver, David C. Anglin, 60, of Dixon, was found to also be under the influence and was arrested for DUI. Both were taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
