Prices lowest in 11 years for gasoline

Gasoline prices for the Labor Day weekend are expected to be the lowest in more than a decade across Kentucky and most of the nation. Motorists continue to benefit from the low price of crude oil. The national average gas price is currently $2.44 a gallon, down almost $1 from last year. At that price, drivers will pay less for gas than any Labor Day weekend since 2004.
