Marion Police Chief Ray O'Neal has issued an advisory asking local residents to keep their vehicles locked and to remove valuables from their cars at night.
There have been a rash of burglaries, mainly from unlocked vehicles. There were five burglaries or attempted burglaries of vehicles in the Greenwood Heights area Tuesday night.
