A Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crew plans to restrict traffic to one lane on and near the U.S. 60 Tennessee River Bridge at Ledbetter today (Friday). The lane restriction should only be in place for a few hours starting after 8 a.m. The lane restriction is to allow patching of potholes on the bridge approach. The crew plans to take steps to temporarily patch the potholes and evaluate the need for more permanent pavement repairs.
Motorists should use appropriate caution in the work zone where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel will be on the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow. Delays should be minimal. The crew should be able to complete their work before the afternoon commute.
