Arrest made in crossbow theft

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department has charged Jason Adams, 33, of Salem with receiving stolen property over $500, a Class D felony.

The charges stem from an investigation of a burglary that occurred on Daniels Cemetery Road in March. A high end cross bow and accessories were stolen as well as other items. The investigation led deputies to Adams who was in possession of the crossbow. 

The investigation is continuing by Deputy Irvin Davis. More arrests are probable in the investigation.
