The National Weather Service office in Paducah has issued a hazardous
weather outlook that includes a slight risk of severe weather on
Friday.
Thunderstorms are possible starting late this afternoon over
southeast Missouri, then spreading across the remainder of the area
overnight. A few storms could become severe mainly after midnight
tonight, with large hail and damaging winds being the main hazards.
Thunderstorms are forecast for all or part of the area from
Friday through Tuesday night. During this time, the best chance of
storms looks to be on Friday, which will include a slight risk of severe
storms. Large hail and damaging winds are again the primary concerns,
with locally heavy rainfall also a possibility.
