State Agriculture Commissioner James Comer confirmed his entry into the
2015 governor's race on Saturday while taking shots at political
opponents and telling rowdy crowds at the annual Fancy Farm picnic that
he will defend coal and fight for smaller government. He was drowned out
by applause from his GOP supporters when announcing that "I will be a
candidate for governor in 2015.
