The trucking company responsible for that metal spill along the Audubon Parkway between Owensboro and Henderson has made arrangements for their insurance carrier to handle tire damage claims directly.
Anyone with tire damage from the metal spill should contact Integrity Administrators at (866) 239-2455 ext. 2278. The claim number is 6898. Motorists will be required to provide appropriate documentation of their damage.
As of Tuesday morning, the company had received 56 calls from motorists with claims and they were processing another 14 messages that came in over the weekend.
Some additional emergency vehicles involved in the effort to clear the metal from pavement along the westbound lanes of the Audubon Parkway from mile point 24.5 to mile point 0.0 last Thursday had flat tires this morning.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is working with the company to get an industrial vacuum truck to continue efforts to clear the aluminum metal shards from along the roadway.
Transportation officials hope to provide more information on that cleanup process through the day.
