Not too late for parade entries

Shelly Davidson of Partners Insurance, which is coordinating this year's Marion Christmas Parade, said there are 38 entries, but more are welcome for Saturday's event.

“I can take entries until about 5 p.m., Friday,” Davidson said.

While most of the entries in the parade are vehicles of some sort, Davidson said there will be a handful of floats. The parade theme is “Picture Perfect Christmas.”

Lineup is at 4 p.m., Saturday and the parade begins at 5 p.m.
