Severe weather possible Tuesday

Severe weather is possible in Crittenden County and across all of western Kentucky Tuesday. Temperatures are expected to reach an unseasonable 67 degrees, bringing with it a chance of isolated thunderstorms beginning late tonight or early Tuesday morning. For Tuesday, the National Weather Service in Paducah is warning of the possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts. They are expected to develop around noon over southeast Missouri, then quickly move across southern Illinois and western Kentucky between noon and 7 p.m. A few thunderstorms within the line may strengthen enough to produce brief tornadoes.
