Marion Tourism and the local park board have teamed up to build a disc golf course at Marion-Crittenden County Park.

Park users are already seeing preparation work along the old railroad area of the walking trail where inmate crews are clearing paths from the park complex to the Victory Gardens property. Plans are for the 18-hole course to built using both properties. Each property is owned by the public.

The course should be ready for play by spring. It was designed by H.B. Clark, a noted disc golf designer.
