At around 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, the City of Marion issued a boil water advisory.
State workers hit a 6-inch pipe on Old Salem Road, prompting the water department to issue the advisory, according to city clerk Layten Croft.
No indication of the duration for the boil water recommendation has been given. Check back for updates.
