Bremner expanding in Princeton

Bremner Food Co., of Princeton, one of the area’s largest employers, plans a $62.1 million expansion of its cookie and cracker plant on U.S. 62.

The state gave preliminary approval yesterday for a $5 million tax incentives plans to enlarge the plant. The expansion includes new product lines and increasing warehouse space.

Incentives are based on creating 111 jobs averaging $15 an hour and benefits. Bremner already employs about 600 workers.
