Crittenden County students can get flu shots at any of the three school nurse clinics. Standard cost is $25, but that can vary based on insurance.
Medicaid and Medicare can be billed for the vaccination, but not private insurance.
The shot is for the seasonal flu and H1N1. Children need parental consent to get the inoculation.
The vaccination is available to parents, siblings and even individuals without children in school. For more information, call the school nurse’s station at 965-9008.
