Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on US 60 in southern Union County on weekdays starting today.
Union County Highway Maintenance Crew is completing drainage improvement work on US 60 in the Sullivan community through Tuesday. Heavy equipment will be operating along the roadway on Thursday and Friday. Flaggers may be used periodically to facilitate the movement of equipment and materials as the work progresses these two days. On Monday, lane restrictions will be required. Delays should generally be less than 5 minutes. However, occasionally a few longer delays may be required during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Approximately 2,000 vehicles travel this section of US 60 near the Union-Crittenden County Line in an average day.
