Crittenden County’s Hunters for the Hungry is accepting donations of deer and money this hunting season. If you harvest a deer and would like to donate it, take the animal to Family Butcher Shop at 346 Rooster Lane off Ky. 654 North Monday through Saturday.
Hunters for the Hungry operates on donations, so please give to the organization when you donate a deer. Your contribution helps pay processing fees. The venison is distributed by the Crittenden County Food Bank at the former health department building each month. If you want to be part of Hunters for the Hungry, call 704-0435.
