Jessica Tinsley, a Crittenden County High School 2012 graduate, was crowned Miss Crittenden County Tuesday night to kick off fair week. See the entire queen's court in this week's edition of The Crittenden Press, due on newsstands after 3 p.m., Wednesday.Fair-goers this week will be surprised to find that the carnival is here despite not being on the original fair schedule. A change in the amusement company's schedule allowed the Lions Club to book the carnival at the last minute. Bracelets to ride everything will be on sale for $12 each night. The fair will also have the planned inflatables for youngsters.
Wednesday is family night, sponsored by Marion Tourism Commission, Conrad's and Farmers Bank. Everything will be free, except for carnival rides.
