Crittenden County school officials continue to assess the situation on campus and throughout the area as they prepare to make a decision about whether to play tonight's semifinal round of the Second Region Girls Basketball Tournament at Rocket Arena, or to postpone it until the weekend.

Crews have been working the last two days to clear campus so the tournament can be held as soon as it's safe.

If the tournament is postponed tonight, the semifinal round will probably be played Saturday and the championship game on Sunday.

Other weekend activities such as the Dugout Club's softball and baseball skills assessment and the Alumni Basketball Game could hinge on what happens with the Second Region Girls Basketball Tournament.
