Racer Nation is making its most impassioned plea yet to the NCAA Tournament selection committee with a 3-minute video posted yesterday on YouTube.
Shot by Murray State University students, the video includes an original hip-hop song, "The Racers Are for Real," with scenes from the basketball team's spectacular season that includes a perfect 16-0 Ohio Valley Conference record and a 25-game winning streak. The music video also contains original scenes, including Racer mascot Dunker and university President Dr. Robert Davies crowd-surfing.

Murray State lost its chance for an automatic bid in March Madness by falling 1 point short in the OVC championship last Saturday to Belmont.
The selection committee for the Big Dance meets Sunday to finalize the pairings for the tournaments 68-team field. The selection show airs at 5 p.m. on CBS.
