OK, there won't be as much to see at the county fair tonight as initially planned, but there's still fun to be had.
Due to poor track conditions at the fairgrounds arena in Marion, tonight's Enduro Circle Truck Racing at the Crittenden County Lions Club Fair has been cancelled. However, the midway will still be open beginning at 6 p.m. Midway rides can be enjoyed all night with the purchase of a $15 armband.
Friday night's truck and tractor pulls and Saturday's demolition derby are still on, with each event beginning at 7 p.m. at the fairgrounds. The midway opens at 6 each evening, and armbands will be $15.
Five days into the fair, the stands at the fairgrounds have yet to seat anybody for events. The first three days of the fair, pageants were held at Fohs Hall. Rain forced Wednesday night's event inside and, again, has affected tonight's show.
