The Cave In Rock Ferry remains closed and a flood warning along the Ohio River in Crittenden County is still in effect. Additionally, Ky. 135 is closed due to high water in the Sawmill Holler area at the 4.2-mile marker.
The flood warning is effecting through Friday. At noon today, the river at Shawneetown, Ill., was at 43.44 feet and rising. Flood stage is 33 feet. The river is not expected to fall below a stage that allows ferry operation until Wednesday.
