Land auction finds prices low

Land speculators and observers of real estate sales in Crittenden County got a jolt over the weekend when a large land auction produced some low prices, as compared to last year's premiums. Recreational property price spiked about a year ago to around $2,000 an acre. The land sale Saturday brought less than $1,000 an acre for the two tracts that sold. Four other tracts did note sell.
