Marion's plans to build a new fire department will be featured on WPSD Local 6 tonight.
The fire department will be built on the corner of Main and Bellville streets. This is a preliminary sketch of what it might look like. Construction could start late this year, but site work is expected to begin this summer.
It's not certain which newscast will feature the fire station. City Administrator Mark Bryant was interviewed in Marion today for the segment.
