The 122nd Hurricane Camp Meeting, an old-fashioned outdoor revival, opened Monday night at the tabernacle near Tolu. Missionary and Marion native Steve English is the evangelist. There is nightly preaching and singing starting at 7. Dinner is available in the camp dining room starting at 5:30.
The Hurricane Youth Camp has 46 campers enrolled this year. They stay on the grounds all week long.
The camp meeting runs through Sunday.
