A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on U.S. 60 in Union County Thursday.
This work zone is to allow milling and asphalt paving from the Ky. 2019 intersection eastward to the Union-Henderson Line.
Motorists should be prepared to encounter one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers during daylight hours. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers and construction personnel are on the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Rogers Group is the prime contractor on this $1.4 million highway project. Work in this area is expected to take about two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
