Several members of the Kentucky House of Representatives want to curb
drunk drivers by stopping them from even making it out of the driveway.
House Bill 286 would require an ignition interlock system for anyone
convicted of their first DUI. The ignition interlock system is a device
that attaches to a car and requires the driver to pass a breathalyzer
test before driving. If the driver fails the test, the car will not
start.
