Alpla Inc., a multi-national plastic packaging manufacturer,
plans to establish a facility in Bowling Green, creating 72 new,
full-time jobs and investing $22.4 million.
“Alpla is not a household name here in Kentucky, but the products the
company manufactures are in nearly every home in the Commonwealth,” Gov.
Steve Beshear said in a statement. “This global company makes a wide
variety of packaging, and we’re excited Alpla is here in the
Commonwealth, creating 72 jobs and investing more than $22 million in
this project.”
Alpla produces customized plastic packaging solutions to meet the needs
of customers. With a diverse range of customers, Alpla products include
packaging for everyday items such as beverages, motor oils, cleaning
supplies and more, according to a state news release.
