Local drivers are the beneficiary of a bit of a gas war today in Marion. All three fueling stations at noon were selling regular unleaded for $3.099 per gallon. The current average price of a gallon of regular unleaded nationwide is $3.559 and $3.430 in Kentucky, according to GasBuddy.com.
By 12:30 p.m., however, prices had begun to fluctuate.
