In Fredonia, Magistrate Elbert Bennett, a Republican incumbent holding the District 1 seat on Caldwell Fiscal Court, easily won re-election, defeating Ricky "Hoss" Cartwright, a Democrat, with 64.4 percent of the vote.
Also in Fredonia, Mike Board will be mayor, joined by council members Hearl "Denny" Jones, Hannah Brasher, Steve Stewart, Angela Blair, Glenna Rowland and Don Boone.
