Kentucky lieutenant governor bound for White House

President Barack Obama has chosen Kentucky Lt. Gov. Jerry Abramson as his liaison to state and local governments, bringing an official experienced in successfully implementing his health care law to the White House as the second open enrollment period is set to kick off.

According to The Associated Press, Gov. Steve Beshear has chosen former state Auditor Crit Luallen to serve as his new lieutenant governor in his final year in office.
