Veterans of World War II and subsequent wars and those living on May 8, 1945, when the war in Europe officially ended with Germany's surrender, are encouraged to attend a special meeting at Crittenden County Public Library at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Everyone, however, is welcome to attended.
Author and World War II veteran Michael Freeland of Hopkinsville and others will be on hand to discuss their wartime and stateside experiences at the time of V-E Day and other crucial times in our country's history. Join the discussion or just listen in on some great stories.
