| Firefighters help battle a house fire this afternoon in Salem. |
A house fire on Mill Street in Salem appears to have heavily damaged a home and a nearby camper trailer early Wednesday afternoon. No one was home at the time the and no injuries have been reported, although a propane tank believed to be from the trailer exploded near firefighters. The fire was reported around noon. At present, firefighters are still on the scene and no cause has been determined.
