Boy who inspired thousands dies of cancer

Lane Goodwin, the McLean County teen who inspired many with his "Thumbs Up for Lane" campaign, has died.
 
The 13-year old Calhoun, Ky., boy had been battling a rare form of cancer. His mother said on the family Facebook page that her son died Wednesday.
 
Lane received support from all over the world when word of the campaign spread on the Internet.
