The Crittenden County Victory Garden is finished for 2012. There will be no more community vegetable giveaways for this growing season.
"We have already plowed an additional 12 gardens which will bring our total gardens to 28 for next year," said Robbie Kirk, one of the men spearheading the effort.
Kirk hopes more churches take part next year with plans to have daily giveaways.
