Recreational boats prohibited from lakes

Due to area flooding, the U.S. Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Coast Guard have issued a Safety Zone on the Cumberland River, Lake Barkley and the Tennessee River, Kentucky Lake. No recreational boats are allowed on either body of water until further notice. The safety precautions will likely be lifted by the first of next week.
