The travel ban issued early this morning in Crittenden County has been lifted.
County Judge-Executive Perry Newcom said about 40 percent of the county's road have received some degree of plowing. He encourages everyone to travel only if it is absolutely necessary.
The roads remain treacherous, Newcom said, and if motorists must travel, they should be aware of maintenance vehicles trying to continue clearing the snow.
"This snow was worse than the last one." Newcom said, "as far the roads are concerned."
